The course is developed as part of the CIVENHANCE Erasmus+ project (https://civenhance.eu/). The Erasmus+ project CIVENHANCE aims to enhance the capacity of higher education (HE) teachers to implement e-service-learning (e-SL) initiatives that promote civic engagement and foster stronger connections between universities and rural communities. In this course, participants will adopt new approaches in digital education to design, develop, deliver and assess effective and holistic rural e-SL experiences for students and useful community projects. Course topics: (1.types of rural e- SL, 2.roles and responsibilities of teachers/students/community partners, 3.introducing rural e-SL into academic curriculum and good practices, 4.planning and implementation of rural e-SL projects; 5.evaluation and assessment of rural e-SL.) The course will be in English language.
